Reactive Power Controllers
ABB Electrification
Power factor correction for balanced and unbalanced loads Today, unbalanced loads are becoming more and more common in businesses and especially in commercial buildings. With RVT2, both single-phase loads (phase-phase or phase-neutral) and 3-phase balanced/unbalanced loads can be compensated. RVT2 can compensate for each phase separately, as well as for 3 phases. Another highlight of the RVT2 is its independent phase measurement and energy meter.
Electrical measurements
− Active power (kW) – 3 phase/1 phase
− Apparent power (kVA) - 3 phase/1 phase
− Reactive power (kVAr) - 3 phase/1 phase
− Reactive power (kVAr) required to reach target cos ϕ - 3 phase/1 phase
− Voltage (V) - 3 phase/1 phase
− Current (A) - 3 phase/1 phase
− Cos ϕ - 3 phase/1 phase
− Total harmonic distortion for current and voltage: THD V/I (%)
− Current / voltage harmonics: H2 to H49
Touch screen
You can easily make parameter settings with the 3.5 inch color QVGA touch screen.
Ethernet connection
Thanks to the ABB PQ Link software, you can connect an RJ45 to the RVT2 and communicate with the relay from anywhere in the world via the 10/100BASE-T interface.
USB connection
RVT2 supports USB 2.0 connection; In this way, it is possible to access all RVT2 parameters by connecting to a computer with a commonly used USB cable.
Up to 8 temperature alarm outputs
You can view the temperature of 8 points in your compensation bank with temperature probes connected with daisy chain logic.
real time clock
RVT2 real-time clock monitors and records the minute and date of all alarms and events
Hardware and software lock
Hardware and software interlocks are available in RVT2 to protect relay settings from unauthorized tampering
