Engine Protection Switches
ABB Electrification
Motor protection switches are electromechanical protection devices for the main circuit. They are mainly used to manually ON/OFF motors and provide unfused protection against short circuit, overload and phase faults. Fuseless protection provides a quick response in short-circuit conditions, saving cost and space and shutting down the motor in milliseconds. Starter combinations are set together with contactors.
